Carol, one of my friends at work says he and his wife are planning their whole First Night schedule
around seeing your show.... you were their favorite last year... and he said he means it and it has nothing to do with knowing me.... so how

Jane and I saw your 7:00 PM set at First Night. We can't
believe the emotions your songs raised in us. The song about all the kids leaving was particularly
moving to us. We have 21, 19 and 15 year old kids, (damn them). Your voice, both as a song writer
and singer, is wonderful. We loved every song you sang.We also loved how you are related to so
many people we know in Burlington (We are from 'away' and have only lived here for 23 years). We
are friends and aquaintances of John Leddy and Louise Thabault, Joey Leddy and Tom Donovan, Jim
and Corinda Leddy, plus a bunch of Cains (Bob, Chiris, John, Susy Cain O'Brien). We never realized
there were Leddy's that far back with different lines coming down to the present! Anyway, great
job both in the performance and in the writing of the songs.We hope to hear you sing again soon. |

Dear Carol, I met you at Smith 4 in November and am a friend
of Richard Does. I am the fellow who got you and many other people to cut out paper
snowflakes. Two years ago I met Julee Glaub at the home of Katherine Hepburn¿s youngest
sister Peg Perry in Canton Center, Connecticut. Julee collects and sings traditional Irish
songs. I suggested she get in touch with Robert Resnik, which I think she did. While
visiting Peg Perry last Sunday, I saw Julee again and purchased a CD that she has
recorded. The CD states, ¿Sample Copy ¿ Full length Coming Soon!¿ I believe Julee went
to New York City on Monday to start recording the new CD. I thought Julee would be
interested in your song about Bernadette Martin. I do not know how these things work ¿ a
singer getting permission to perform a songwriter¿s song. Perhaps you could give me some
information about that. When I attempt to send you e-mail at cabair@together.net, I get

Dear Carol, What a nice set of songs. As I listen to your CD
I could picture myself next to a fireplace, snowing outside, a wine in my hand, and
listening to your lovely melodies. My favorites so far are: What About My Baby, Where Are
The Children, Farewell Bernadette, and There's His Broken Heart. My wife, Linda, her
favorites are well, she likes them all but,probably "Frost, and My Home Is
Vermont" are her favorites. Your voice and your guitar serenade and compliment each
other. Your band is of high standards. It was refreshing to hear an acoustic guitar with a
soft, beautiful voice behind it. Your song's lyrics tell a story about the common person.
